MILL AND PASTA FACTORY

The Mill: the core of our know-how

Fewer than 10% of Italian pasta producers have their own milling facilities directly connected to the pasta factory. We control every phase of processing the wheat, from cleaning to milling, in order obtain flour that is always fresh and to ensure the unique taste of our pasta.

The Flumeri pasta factory

The milling and pasta-making machines use advanced techniques and respect the environment

The factory in Flumeri, where integrated installations transform wheat into pasta, allows for taking the semolina straight from the Mill to the adjoining Pasta Factory. There it is kneaded with pure water from springs of Irpinia to produce Armando’s Pasta.

Master pasta makers carefully check all stages of production so that the quality of the raw materials are retained, and organoleptic characteristics are preserved.

Reduction of polluting emissions

We have worked on reducing the polluting emissions resulting from logistical operations, choosing to reduce the imports of raw materials from abroad and create one of the country’s most important production chains for Italian durum wheat: La Filiera di Armando.

Every year, we prevent:

2,565 tons of CO₂ emissions

2,096 tons of oil equivalent

38,000 MWh of thermal energy recovery

OUR PLEDGE

We care about the health of the planet and for this reason we have chosen to use packaging made entirely of recyclable paper.

A small contribution, a large gesture.
