Onion and tuna: the perfect combination!
Try the recipe, the end result will be exceptional.
Ingredients for 4 people- 320 g of Armando paccheri
- 400 g of Tropea red onion (in this period I used shallots)
- 150 g of tuna fillets
- 5 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- Salt to taste
Start by cleaning and finely chopping the shallot.
Place 5 tablespoons of oil in a pan, add the shallot and sauté for 2 minutes over high heat.
Once the time has passed, lower the heat, add a ladle of water, cover with the lid and cook for at least 30 minutes.
At this point, take a pot, fill it with water, and bring to a boil. Once the water has reached a boil, add salt and cook the Armando paccheri for the indicated time.
Once the onion has cooked for 30 minutes, remove the lid and add the tuna fillets. Cook over low heat for at least 5 minutes.
Drain the pasta and add it to the pan with the tuna and onion sauce. Let it simmer for about 2 minutes and... Enjoy your meal!
